Monitor is 2.5 years old. Pressing the power button results in the backlight turning on, but nothing appears on the display and the monitor goes to standby after a few seconds, just as though no video cable is plugged in. (But also the little "Input" box doesn't appear on the screen as it normally does if no input is connected.) The capacitors look fine.
Any ideas?...

Hello... I thought I'd registered here years ago, but apparently not (or maybe my account got pruned for inactivity). I've learned quite a bit from reading threads here, and I've already fixed some stuff (monitor, graphics card, motherboard... :P). Thanks!
